Greetings! Our Dynamics 365 Account form utilizes Address 1 Composite to present and gather data. This data is then sent to our ERP and stored for use in other systems. On rare occasions, the Address is changed/updated in our ERP and we have a CRM workflow we trigger manually to pull that changed/updated data back into CRM. Once the data is sent to the ERP, the address can not be updated in CRM be the users, only by the workflow, so as to keep the two systems in synch. (As a System admin, I am able to remove the account number temporarily, which tricks CRM into thinking the data was never sent to the ERP, so I can see the data in the flyout, but typical users can not.)
Recently we have found that while the updated data resulting from the workflow is in CRM, it isn't visible on the Account form. If one opens the Composite flyout, the new data can be seen. But it won't update on the Account form absent initiation of the flyout.
We do see the data is correct in the individual fields that make up the composite in various views, so there is no doubt the changed/updated data is in the right places.
How can I make the form show the updated data from the composite? I'm not a coder, so would prefer a solution which utilizes business rules on the form, or a workflow/process. I was hoping to simply add steps to the workflow we use to grab the updated data, but so far the out of the box workflow options have not resolved my issue.
Thanks in advance,
Tricia
