I have been developing a Business Process Flow for Dynamics 2016 on premises version, and now when deploying that, it occurs that the process bar crashes when the UI language is set to Finnish instead of English (the base language). The button for proceeding to next stage is hidden, and overall the process bar seems a bit outdated.
By googling I found out that the reason might be differing versions of CRM server and the language pack. (If someone knows better what the reason is, please let me know). However, I'm now trying to solve the issue by updating the Finnish language pack to match the server version. Currently, the server version is 8.0.1.79, whereas the language pack is as old as 5.0.9690.4376.
Now the corresponding language pack has been installed on the machine running the CRM, but the database doesn't seem to have updated. In the Administration-Languages -section of the CRM I can still see the old language pack version for Finnish.
I read there should be a daily background job/process checking the database for updates:
"If this jobs detects that the MUI version was updated (by version mismatch in registry HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSCRM\LangPacks and database MSCRM Datenbank, Tabelle OrganizationLanguagePack), it will re-provision the language and also update the version of OrganizationLanguagePack in the database."
but apparently the job doesn't detect any differences. How could this issue be solved?
