How to send email to team members

Hello,

Is there a possibility to send email notification to team members out of the box?

I am facing with the following customer need:

- When a Case is assigned to a certain team an email should be sent to team members of the team ("a new case is assigned to the team").

Is this possible to accomplish with out of the box features (workflows for example)?
