I am new at this forum, so please tell me if I don`t follow common rules... And I am not a native speaker, sorry.
What am I looking for:
I want to import project tasks into CRM/PSA. Therefore I want to use excel but one problem is left:
I want to have that the given monthly effort is set to the respective month, let's say 1st of each Month. But every time I do an import the effort is distributed over the total duration of the task. I saw that I could use "Effort contour" to place the effort on a specific day. But it seems as if I have to have an entry for each single day of the period. Examples
Period: 01.02.2018 to 01.03.18 (ddmmyy). So I would use something like:
[{"Date":"\/Date(1515452400000+0000)\/","EffortHours":1},{"Date":"\/Date(1519858800000+0000)\/","EffortHours":1}]
Import works, but I get in January an effort of 0.95 and in Feb of 1.05. Total is correct. But the effort is (approx.) 0.05 every day.
Only Idea is to have an "VDate" entry for every single day, already for a year it would be a lot...
Any better idea or a hint?
