I've over "googled" myself into total confusion.
I have a requirement to create a header type of thing that will be on my form that displays information from a related entity. Since I cannot use the OOB header I was pointed to create a web resource via a blog by PowerObjects.
I need a bit of guidance as I have two problems - 1-using json or fetchxml to get the data and 2-how to get the html in the web resource to call an onload event.
- I have figured out the fetchxml needed to get the data in question
- I would use odata but I'm not familiar on how to create that format and XRMToolBox wouldn't convert my fetchxml to odata since it had a filter on the linked entity
- I'm assuming I need to create an HTML web resource that will contain the table that will be populated by javascript (housed either in the HTML web resource or in another (guidance on how to do that would be appreciated) that will get the information.
My HTML web resource can't seem to keep an body onload (I type it in and then on save it is removed) so I can't get my javascript to fire.
