Calculated Field being a party in a Roll-up Field

Hello All,

My on-premise CRM version is: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Version 1612(8.2.2.112)

I understand that a calculated field cannot be party in a roll-up query as the calculated fields will not appear in the rule. Is there any workaround for this?

In my situation I have Projects and Items, a project can have multiple items. Item has a field for Qty and another Field for Unit Cost. A calculated field will carry the cost of the item (Qty * Unit Cost). I want this Total Cost of all items to be rolled-up to a rollup field in Project entity. I know this can be easily done with JS, but I am looking for a NOCODE workaround
