Email reminders for timecards

Hi, I have a requirement to send emails to users if they have not created a timecard after 5 days since the beginning of each week. An additional email would be sent every 24 hrs thereafter until the user creates a timecard. If anyone can guide me on how to accomplish this via workflow it would be much appreciated.
