Lock inactive stage in Business Process Flow CRM 2015

Hi,

Is there a supported way to lock inactive stages in Business Process Flow?

For instance, I have stage 1 to stage 5 and currently, the active stage is stage 3. I would like to lock the stages 1, 2, 4 and 5 so that the user will not be able to populate fields in other stages except stage 3. There is an out of the box kind of functionality but applicable for cross entity business process flow. Our business process flow is only for single entity.

Any inputs are highly appreciated.
