Seamless way to upload template into document library

The challenge that I am facing is the way in which Dynamic CRM handles document uploads into the system. What I have created is a template that uses the appointment entity to fill data into the template, to which the user would then add more information and then upload to the document library.

The problem is that the user would then have to save the downloaded template and then make changes save it, then upload it again to the SharePoint document library. I'm sure this would create a level of annoyance for the user, and would not have user uptake.

Is there a solution that would allow the users to seamlessly download the updated template and then make further changes while uploading afterwards without saving the document?
