In CRM 2011 below is the scenario :-
Security Role : User-Defined-Role-1
WRITE Privileges of "Notes" entity is set to NONE.
Scenario :-
When a User with the above mentioned security role opens an existing Case record and clicks on "Add a new Note..." button.
1. A new note record is displayed where User enters some information and clicks somewhere on the form.
2. This results in saving of the Note record successfully.
3. Now User clicks back into the newly created note and tries to modify the note. It gives OOB error mentioning "User does not have enough rights to update the Notes".
And here is the issue, once I close the error popup window and click anywhere on the form (i.e. when the Note's textbox losses focus) the same above error is thrown again. This goes on in an infinite loop.
Only way out of this loop is pressing F5 (refresh) button.
A. Has anyone faced this same issue ?
B. Can this be fixed using by any Roll-up ? If so please suggest which one.
Will keep this posted once I find something.
