Auto assign resources from resource groups for service scheduling

Is there any OOTB functionality in CRM 2016 to automatically select resources based on availability from a particular resource group? All resources have the same selection rule of 9am-5pm defined and there is only one site/location.

I'm currently creating service activities and picking resources out of a defined resource group. What I want to be able to do is select the resource group and CRM knows who is available during that time so I do not have to cross check against the calendar. 

Any ideas?
