Customized Reports in Dynamics CRM 2016 On-Premises

Hi,

I am new to CRM. I want to know that how can i make customized reports in Dynamics CRM 2016 where i can pass parameters as well while running the report. I have checked in Dynamic 365 online where we can make the reports using the fetchXML of advanced find but i want to know how i can make reports for CRM on premises. If anyone can help me here or share some material (links, tutorials etc) by which i can start building customized reports.
