HI guys,
at a bit of a loss here. My problem is that I have an excel file of Accounts that I need to import into MS CRM 2011. When I open the file there appears to be nothing wrong with it. All the data is there and there are no problems when I am saving it.
However when I try to upload it to CRM it comes up with the error message:
"Error in unzip. The .zip or .cab file could not be uploaded because the file is corrupted or does not contain valid importable files."
Has anyone else experienced this problem with MS CRM 2011 and if so do you have any way of remedying it?
Just as pointers to let you know what i have done so far myself:
- Tried the Clean function, but I dont think that i used that properly and I have multiple columns and I think that it only does one column at a time.
- Tried using the original file from Salesforce but that is now coming up as corrupt too even though it has uploaded before.
- Tried converting it back to .xml and .csv. Both failed.
- Editing the information and removing non essential columns does not help either.
Really need to get this sorted as our entire business database is on this but we have no way of using the information until this is fixed.
I hope someone out there has experience with a problem like this.
Thanks
PS: now the error is coming up as saying that there is simply an error with the file and that I am to contact the Microsoft Community.
