How to add and access configuration values from Javascript

Hey there,

I would like to store a configuration value in my crm environment that I can then access from JavaScript code. This configuration value would be an API key and it will be different in each crm environment we own. Ideally, we would like to deploy this script and not have to worry about managing the key manually each time.

What's the preferred way of accessing a config value like this in JS?
