USD: Opening a hyperlink page from an external web application inside USD

Hi,

I'm new to USD and was trying to achieve the following but failed. Can anyone pls help me?

I've created a hosted control in USD which loads an external web page (say google.com) in a tab. This works fine.

The ext web page has some hyperlinks. Onclick they open in new windows. 

I want that the hyperlinks open in the USD as separate tabs.

Here are the details:

Hosted Control:

Name: Test Control

USD: USD Hosted Application

Hosted Application: Web Hosted Application

Application is Global

Application is Dynamic

Window Navigation Rule:

From: Test Control (created above)

URL: *

Route Type: Popup

Des: Tab

Action: Route Window (tried Default as well)

Target/Show Tab: blank

This doesn't work. The hyperlinks open in new window outside the USD. What am I missing?
