Kingswaysoft Service Timeout

I have downloaded the Kingswaysoft adapter and am attempting to use it to transfer data from one table to another between test environments. The count of records is not too large ,possibly in tens of thousands but the process keeps timing out, sometimes it is the query and sometimes it is the writing part. The query and write are pretty straightforward with all records and also lookups are less than 10. I have read that time timeout part on query can be adjusted by using the Service Timeout setting on the connection but in my case this appears to be uneditable and I cannot select a value for this. Can someone advise why this is so and if this is a dynamics 365 change.
