Please could someone confirm this is a bug? or have I missed something here.
We are on Dynamics CRM 2013 sp1 CU5.
To recreate the issue,
1. create a sharepoint folder in the relevant site >> doc lib
2. download the Document Location import teamplate. Fill in the following columns -
Name, Absolute URL and Regarding
3. Then import it. Doc location item will get created fine as expected.
4. Now go to the regarding item document tab, you will see the above error message.
If I click on the "open this content in a new window" it opens the relevant SharePoint folder in a new window fine.
Further to this, if I then open the doc location in Dynamics and update (ie click on the option "Absolute URL" for the URL Type) and save it. All of a sudden it start to work for the document tab.
One other thing is if you open the form edit of the Document Location, you will see a field label "URL Type" but the field doesn't exist...
anyone encountered similar issues? any ideas?
