Hide default app works but users can still see

Hi,

We are still in trial at the moment with Dynamics 365 but wasn't sure really where this question went so apologies if in wrong forum.. 

I have hidden successfully the default app for Dynamics 365 but users if go to our instance URL they still see the default app which has all the tabs they don't have access too, its appears quite confusing for the users when we have to tell them they have to manually go to one of the custom apps we have made which then hides all the apps (project service,service etc..) they do not have access too. 

Is there a way to do something to force users who go to our instance URL to set a default app (a custom one that has been made)?
