Dynamics CRM 2015 on-premises - Import referential data from production to development environment

Hello Techies,

What’s the best way to synchronize referential data (custom referential) from the production to our dev environment. The referential data GUID are referenced by the existing entities like incidents, service appointments, etc. The idea is not to just get the referential data from production but also update the existing entities with the referential GUID columns pointing to the new GUID of the imported data.

1. Get referential data from production

2. Update existing entites' referential columns’ data based on the new GUID imported
