Copy paste URL-field from Dynamics to Outlook issue

Hi

We are running Dynamics 365 9.0 onPrem and have the following behavior for URL-fields. 

1. We have a custom entity with a URL-field, the url field is populated with for example http://www.microsoft.com  The field is read-only (locked in UI) 

2. I mark and select the URL from the field in dynamics and press ctrl+c

3. I create a new email in outlook and press ctrl+v in the text-field to paste the URL from Dynamics 

4. The link looks fine, but when I hover over the link in the email a URL to the specific record in Dynamics shows up, same thing happens if I click the link in Outlook. It sends me to CRM which of coruse is wrong. 

What causes this behavior? 

I have spoken with a colleague, and they have the same issue in their Dynamics 2015 installation.
