PCF control to select states of country and return the selected country code

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to Display a states of a country in map  in canvas app .When i select a state, it should return the statecode.

Understood that this can be achievable using PCF control.. Tried existing Map control in PCF gallery, but it is not suitable for my requirement.

 I am new to  PCF control. Could anybody please guide through some steps how can we achieve this in PCF.
