Is there a way to track down who has export data from the system (Dyanmics 365)? Ideally I would like a list of users and what they have exported and when.

There are huge number of Active connection are in sleeping mode for ORG_MSCRM database and due to CRM application gets down.
Is there any way to identify the active connection in database for ORG_MSCRM database.

I am triing to setup a custom repository on Opportunity and SalesOrder.
I need them to upload documents on the same SharePoint location (same folder), i am sure i could achieve that using an OnCreate plugin to create the location plus some code on Azure.
But, Is there anyway to do the same thing with out-of-the-box configuration on CRM?

I have opportunity form which has Quote section .
i have one solution on QC which contains label name as proposal on this particular section.
i have imported this solution into the dev environment.
after that bring the solution from the production for opportunity entity and import that.
production solution has label name as Connections over there.
but after importing prod solution on the dev it should also replace the label name with Connections but still the label name is proposal.
why this is so.
but this label name is still Proposal, above image is from production.
can anyone help me resolving this.??

I'm wondering if it is possible to auto sync outlook (exchange online) contacts to Dynamics 365 without the requirement to hit the track button in Outlook.
I'm currently implementing a CRM system and we've got a process for managers to scan their business cards into their phone. I'm using an app called Cam Card which seems to work well and is free.
The contact is then autosaved to the exchange.
At the moment managers have to manually click the track button in the outlook contact to sync this with our CRM.
Basically looking to remove the process of hitting the track button to save them one less steps and make the process easier.
Ideally the Dynamic CRM mobile client would have the card scanner inbuilt I could then I could easily add notes all in one place. Help appreciated.

I am working on CRM 2016 Online which has been integrated to Sharepoint online via Server based sharepoint Integration.
I could see documents related to a particular case (incident) record in Document associated view by navigating to the casename -> Chevron -> Documents , from Case form Navigation.
While displaying the documents in 'Document Associated view', it doesnt show the icon just infront of the Name column.
Sometimes a weird image is being shown. But if I select 'All Document view', i am able to see the icon of the document type properly. (e.g. if the document having .docx extention it display word doc icon).
After some investigation i found that, while 'Document Associated view' loads , an image tries to load as below:

(It shows 'Could not load the image' , while pointing with Firebug)
While selecting 'All Document view', a different image loads:

I am a trainee administrator for a start up company, we have had Dynamics CRM implemented recently and i need help from the Dynamics community if possible.
We sell cloud CCTV storage, our product is activated via a MAC address, when we create a sales order for example for 10 units, we need to be able enter 10 lines of Mac address so the Admin team can activate them.
Example Order
10 Visual Network Units (10 macs)
10 patch leads
10 cameras
once we select 10 units i need to be able to enter 10 Mac addresses.
The plan is to enter the Macs using a bar-code reader, can anyone give me any advice on how to do this? and whats the best way to do this?

My company has been using CRM through Online and CRM for Outlook. We haven't been using mobile devices but want to move in that direction.
Our sales team have mostly used CRM for Outlook to track and set regarding of activities through the CRM Outlook client.
I want to be sure I'm getting the big picture about trying to replicate this on mobile devices. To do this, server-side sync would be required but I don't want to take this step without understanding its implications. The main reason to do this would be so we would have the option to use the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.
Am I understanding that if we switched to server-side sync and used this app through our Exchange Server 2013, we would be able to track emails, appointments and tasks through the Dynamic 365 App for Outlook on our mobile phones.
Would this work with device native email apps (currently how most of our users use email), or would one need to install an Outlook app on the device? We use a Maas360 system for linking our Exchange Server to the mobile devices. Would separate calendar, contact and task mobile apps linked to Exchange Server work with Dynamics 365 App for Outlook?
Basically, we are wanting our users to be able to do what they usually have done through Outlook through their mobile phone apps without having to go directly into the Dynamics 365 app.

I'm trying to create a security role which allows a user to read a specific account record with its relevant records e.g. contacts, activities...etc.
I created a new security roles and enabled all Read circles to "user" level only. The user is capable of reading only the account which was shared with him. However I keep receiving an error (Protocol file pasted below) and sometimes the entire CRM Page doesn't work.
The purpose of this security role is for an external test user to be able to see/explore our system while maintaining data privacy. So an administrator's license isn't helpful since it gives the user too much power and doesn't allow him to read that single record.
Could you please give few hints on how to achieve this task?

Is there is any way to set only user level access while creating custom entities from CRM or C#.
My requirement is that my custom entity only has user level access, not business unit neither organisation level.

We are in the process of upgrading our CRM 2011 to 2013(eventually will be upgraded to 2016), with the incremental process from 2011 to 2013, I encountered legacy code issue, something like obsolete service end point. Not sure if we can resolve that issue, is there any other way for upgrade? For example, migrate data directly from 2011 to 2013 using some types of data integration tools, such as Scribe, or Kingswaysoft? What options do I have?
