Contacts in our CRM entity are auto-created.
Most of our employees are also customers, so they have a CRM contact.
We have email saved to a email queues via an email router. We have email retention set to record anything with a contact.
This results on practically all inner office emails being saved in CRM which we do not want.
We cannot delete the contacts because they will populate when our accounting system syncs the sql databases.
Is there a way to exclude certain contacts from email retention?
Anyone ever come across this scenario and have a better way to manage email retention? Ideally we need all contact with actual customers to still be saved automatically.
