Managing Leads and Account/Contact Record Activities

Hi,

I'm new to my company and intended to be the power-user of CRM. I've used Siebel in the past, and new to CRM Dynamics 2011. I've gotten pretty familiar with it over the past month.

I could use some help explaining either how to do something, or whether or not it is part of CRM 2011's, with Outlook functionality.

In my database there are already thousands of contact records and account records.

I just went to a tradeshow. 200 people stopped by my booth. 100 of them just threw in their business card, but didn't chat with me. Something about bad breath--but that's another matter.

So, I imported the 100 booth visitors as leads, and assigned them to different sales reps. (I CAN DO THIS).

Here starts (my) the tricky part. I loaded these booth visitors as leads. Say, 50 of 100 booth visitors are already in CRM as contacts and/or account (the company is in, but they aren't listed as a contact). So, while the sales reps are working the leads, how will someone else from my firm, going into CRM, and going to the account/contact record, see that that account/contact was at the trade show--without having to comb through the leads?

What do you think? I've tried to write clearly, but I'm happy to further clarify, if it helps with my question.

Best,

Freddy
