CRM Online User Names

So, it has come to my attention that CRM Online uses a concatenation of First Name and Last Name from the Office 365 listing. Is there a way I can tell it "no thanks" to that? I'd like for the application to use the Display Name rather than that method.

Or is there a way I can edit the name?
