Audit data

Hi,

I am currently working on a project to migrate/transfer data from a crm 2011 version towards a 2016 on premise solution. The audit data is an essential piece of info that needs to be transferred. The 'audit' entity does not allow 'create' method. Is there any way that the audit could be transferred or copied?

Appreciate any help on this.
