Getting option set field from CRM Interface in workflow

Hello guys,
I am creating a new custom workflow assembly in which I will accept some parameters from the CRM workflow interface. One of the inputs is going to be an option set field. How do I set it up in the code to accept a option set field and convert the label to a string in the custom workflow assembly?
