Hi,
Imagine the following solutions setup:
Solution A - the main bulk of the config/customisation
Solution B - some custom plugins
Solution C - workflows
These three solutions are our entire system.
We want to create another solution to contain some changes we've been making. Let's call this Solution D. As I understood it, we could simply create a solution to contain these changes, as any dependencies are in the existing three solutions, so there should be no missing components.
I've done this, exported the Solution D from our development environment as managed and tried to import into our testing environment, but I get an error stating "... The following components are missing in your system and are not included in the solution...". I am certain that the missing components are in the TEST system, there is no doubt. I know I can resolve the problem by including the "missing" components in Solution D, but surely this is defeating the point of solutions? I don't want to include dependencies that exist in destination solutions.
Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Stewart
