Buttons on Document subgrid

Hi Experts, we are using Share point document subgrid on our Account entity. But the business want to disable Upload button when a flag on account is marked yes. I can hide the button using script way but the users will be able to go to document location in Sharepoint and upload a document from there.

Any suggestions?
