Field mapping and page refresh issue

I have a 1:N relationship entities, and I configure field mappings.

In my parent entity, I have a sub-grid and + button to add the child entities.

When a new form (child) is shown, the mapped field is populated, but when I refresh the page, the mapping is gone.

Is this a bug and any workaround on this issue?
