Export Report - nothing Happens

HI Guys,

I will explain my environment firstly

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 UR6
Outlook 2010 SP1
CRM for Outlook UR6
IE 9

I have a new business need, where when the user craetes a Quote and generates the report, he clicks on Export and selects the file format, and nothing happens

When attempting to do this through IE it works fine.

I have seen the KB mentions, where uninstalling a Security update resolves the issue or amending the Registry.

These can not be done, as i would not want to uninstall a Security update or hack the registry and then have to do it for every other user who needs this feature.

Is there any other fixes for this? or planned fixes?
