AAD Security Groups and BU Assigned to User (CRM)

I've been reading around regarding AAD groups and BUS and would appreciate if someone would clarify what happens in below scenario.  .   

Scenario:

User A assigned to BU X

User A is a member of an AAD Group that is associated with BU Y

Question:

Will the user have access to cases and data for BU X and BU Y?
