Trigger a plug when licence of the user is revoked in office365

Hi,

I am trying to register a plugin in 2 messages

1) SetState  2) SetStateDynamicEntity.

Background:

1) We use MS CRM online 2016

2)We revoke the licence of the users using office 365.

Scenario:

When status of the user changes, plugin should fire.

Issue :

The plugin is not getting fired on change of the status.

Efforts:

We also tried to use the update message still not successful in triggering the plugin.

 

Any suggestion?

Dynamics CRM for Outlook Plugin, Track and Set Regarding buttons not appearing

I have a user who has been sending emails over the course of a week and has been trying to track them in CRM now today. For some emails the CRM tab on the ribbon is not appearing, even though they are emails sent from the same outlook client on the same PC and the same exchange account.

Is there any experience of this issue where a difference exists between messages from the same outlook client and email account?

while trying to connect with plugins I am getting the below mentioned error

I am using CRM 4.0 on Windows 10 and IE11


It appears the password is not being saved and CRM repeatedly asks for a login.  Access to the requested page is finally reached and will be authenticated whether the password is entered or the popup window is just closed.

Hello, I switched my AppPool from Classic to Integrated and now receive this error when accessing any of the ORGs in the Web Browser. I've seen some information about the Application_OnStart setting. But, cannot figure out where or how to change this. I'm not a programmer. Just looking for specific instruction on what settings in IIS Manager to change to fix this. Thank you.

Add specific product (subscription, rent)

Hi,

I'm about specifying my products (for the first time) into Dynamics CRM 2016 and I can't find the right way to do that.

I have two types of products:

1. "Product x" to rent or to sell. So I need to specify for each "Product x" two prices (price for renting and price for selling), but I can't find a way to specify that. Any good practices to cover this need?

Also, if "product x" is rented, which entity should I use to track that "sale"? order entity? contract entity?

2. "Product y" which is never sold alone but packaged with other "products y" in bundles. Bundles are sold as subscription plans such as STANDARD plan (contains 3 "product y"'s) and PREMIUM plan (contains 10 "product y"'s). Subscriptions can be monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly and yearly.

Based on Dynamics entities, I can guess that STANDARD plan and PREMIUM plan could be bundles, but how can user sells these bundles based on subscription duration. Should I:

  1. create bundles of bundles: create "bundle standard 1" which is equivalent to 1 month of a standard subscription, "bundle standard 3" which is equivalent to 3 months of a standard subscription... or
  2. add quantity to bundle order (quarterly standard subscription will be equivalent to an order with 3 standard bundles). If this is the recommended solution, how can we apply a discount?
  3. use contracts and track duration there?

We use O365 and just created a trial for Dynamics 365 for Sales however I am not able to find the little icon that is supposed to be there next to the reply button which allows us to connect to CRM. I searched for this app in the marketplace but although there are apps for D365 for field service etc there is no app for for D365 for sales.

How FulfillSalesOrderRequest works with plugin?

Hello Community,

I try to fulfilled my Order in the plugin by the request "FulfillSalesOrderRequest", But when executing this request, The same plugin is fired again containing in the target attributes "datefulfilled".

Is the second execution a normal performance of the plugin? currently we are having issue with this second execution of the plugin.

I have a couple of custom entities that users are accidentally writing over, adding to, or deleting. I've gone through their securities with a fine tooth comb and cannot figure out where I need to lock it down to keep this from happening. It's on a couple of entities but the most frustrating one is our Equipment Numbering entity. I have had to go through and clean it up a few times. Below are the security permissions.... any help you can offer would be valuable. Thank you!


Portal Search - Search All Cases

I have a requirement that all Cases (with publish to web box checked) be searchable in the global search within the portal. The portals documentation says that only cases which are resolved will be shown in the global search results. However there is also a "Portal Search" view that is supposed to set the filter criteria.

Therefore I have removed the resolved only criteria from the "Portal Search" view, but it is not working as expected on the portal side. Does this view actually determine the search criteria of the portal global search?

I need to create a field that will display all of the marketing lists a contact or lead is a member of, but I'm not certain what the best way to do this is. Any suggestions?

Relationships not working for fields that are not global options

I have an opportunity entity and a Portfolio/Community entity. I tried mapping multiple fields within the relationships but the only one that is working is the field with the global option set but not the date or text fields. I'm very inexperienced with CRM and I have been teaching myself so detailed explanation of how to set this up correctly would greatly help. 

I have attached screenshots of the fields and relationships that are not working.

One user has problem to use Send As in CRM 2011 on premise

Hi, I am the system administrator of the CRM system and want to send bulk email on behalf of our sales team members. I have the Delegate Role to send email on behalf of other users. All sales team members has set Allow others to send email on behalf of. All sales members have the same security role. I have no problem to send on half of 7 out of 10 salespersons. 3 sales person's emails show Sending forever. 2 of the 3 person have no issue to send and receive email  by themselves in CRM and outlook. 1 person can't send and receive email in CRM but his outlook email works fine. 

Can anyone help?
