Service Level Agreement failure actions do not update

$

0

I've set up an enhanced First Response SLA. The SLA failure actions are to update the case priority to High, Is Escalated field to Yes, and send an email to the case owner.

When the SLA timer expires, the workflow shows that all of the failure actions are successful. The email is sent but the case priority and IsEscalated fields are not updated.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Ben

Hello all,

Adding Human Resources or Workers / Assigning them to entities without granting access to CRM

Hi guys!

I have a simple, straight Forward question on which I would love to get some feedback on before I go building around in my sandbox.

Situation:

CRM seems to be the perfect solution for what I need, however I would like to add an additional "Feature".

The Company in question transports vehicles from point A to point B, and 99% of everything needed to get the task done is already on board. However, one thing is missing which would have to be integrated:

There are several People working for the Company as Drivers. They would not need to have access to the CRM enviroment, however I would have to set up a database with all the Drivers listed, and assign them to Teams. I was thinking of creating a new entity for this purpose.

Then I would simply add a new custom field to the "Order" entity in which I could select a Driver, and therefore know which Driver was assigned to the order.

Here Comes the hard part: At the end of the month I would need CRM to generate a Report, telling me how many hours each Driver was working for me.

My thouhts here were to add a custom field in the "Order" entity to somehow capture the time spent on each order. The "ORDER" entity is assigned to a Driver via the other custom field, so somehow there should be an easy and elegant way to do this with the on board Tools (Workflow for example)

I was hoping some of you would have some Input, and maybe someone has a good idea.

Sales Pipeline Funnel Chart Order is now incorrect

Hi,

We are using the OOB sales funnel chart which our consultant linked to the new sales stage field we're using.

We had a problem previously where the stages were not displaying in the correct order in the chart. We fixed this by firstly changing the name of each stage (adding in 1., 2. before the name so it would sort in that order) and secondly changing the code number (GUID?) of each of the stage values (so that if the chart was using the number of the field value it would order correctly also). This did seem to solve the problem.

Today I noticed that the chart wasn't displaying the stages in the correct order anymore (not sure for how long). However, I have no idea what the order is based on as it's not alphabetical by stage name, not by stage value number and also not by the revenue value.

Can anyone tell me how the data is being ordered and how to fix it? I attach images of the chart, the values and the code.

Creating New Organization Dynamics CRM 2013 in an Always On Environment -SQL Server Agent not running error

Hi, I am running CRM 2013 in an always on environment, and the AlwaysOn features are all working perfectly. However today I tried to create a new organization on the CRM system, but I receive the message that SQL Server Agent service is not running on the AlwaysOn environment (referring to the AlwaysOn listener name). Both SQL Agent services are running on each of the SQL serversand have been restarted, but I still receive the above error.

How to calculate the time spent or time remaining on case and save it in a field of a separate entity record

Hi,

I am facing this design challange. I have a case that needs to be routed to 3 different departments with different First Response by and Resolve By KPI values. The case can be moved both ways, i.e. from department 1 to department 2 or from department 2 to department 3 and vice versa.

I have created a mechanism to save the First Response By and Resolve  By values for each department. Now, I am devicing a mechanism that whenever a case is assigned from one department to the next one, it should save its time spent in a custom entities record field, so that if the case is assgined back to the same department, the time should not be started from the beginning but right from where it was stopped.

For e.g. Department A has a Resolve by KPI of 3 Hours. Department A spent 2 hours and assigned the case to Department B. Now I want to save the time spent i.e. 2 hours in a field of a different entity. Can I get the time remaining value from timer control?

How can I get this value?

Dear all,

I have a email adress which is mainly our web site main input email request.

In order to get all time incoming email from web site into CRm automatically we have setup and Input Queue linked with that email.

We have validate the email adress and test process works ok.

Whjat is happening is that really often, we get do not receive any more any email in and we notice that an alert is display in the queue as shown below :

Our email credential are full time valid, and it happen too often.

Then when we re validate the email it works again for may be a day or  2 and then same alerts again.

What could be wrong, is it a CRM bug or setting that I miss here ?

Thnaks for help

CRM 2013 toolkit and Visual Studio 2013

I realize that CRM 2013 does not support .Net 4.5 due to issues surrounding Windows Identify Foundation, but I was hoping that the toolkit would have been released with Visual Studio 2013 support anyway, as it allows you to target .Net 4.0 applications.

I prefer not to have two versions of Visual Studio, and as I am conducting Win8.1 as well as Dynamics CRM development I have to use VS 2013.

Does anyone know if there is a VS 2013 version of the toolkit coming in the near future?  Also, I recall that there was a way to install the VS 2010 version of the toolkit on VS 2012 (prior to the release of the VS 2012 version).  Has anyone tried making the same modification to use the VS 2012 version with VS 2013?

A flaw in CRM on the simple things....

CRM 2015.

Open an account>Select contacts> Now you want to perform an action against each contact.

Open contact 1 and make a change to the record.

Go back to the list of contacts to open contact 2.....it doesn't allow you to. It takes you back to the account screen.

Anybody know a workaround for this?

Thanks,

How to filter the Get Products view from Sales Order form

$

Please, I have this problem.

The Sales Order form has the Get Products button, by it the user can select an opportunity to be added to the sales order. The button is not just in the form. It is at the top. Because of this, I can not filter this look up view (the next picture shows the button Get Products - "Obtener Productos" in spanish version - )

By RibbonWorkBench2013 solution, I can see that this button calls the "getProductsForOrder" function of the /_static/sfa/salesorder/salesorder.js library. That function calls to the Opportunity lookup view. Because of this, I can not filter the view (or I don't know how).  I checked the library to see if I was able to change this call. But not. I think I should be able to filter this view before the calls from the library. Or at lest, I should be able to get the Opportunity Id selected for the user, and review if it has the same client of the sales order, and reject add the products if not.

Is it possible?

Thank you.

Configure Dynamics AX Connector to support multiple source/destination adapters

Good morning,

It is possible to configure the Dynamics AX Connector V3 so it can run against two or more AX installations?
I´ve seen that people have been using the MS Dynamics CRM 2011 Instance Adapter but that´s for multiple CRM 2011 organizations.

Currently I´m working with DEV/TEST/PROD environments so 3 instances of AX vs. 3 instances of CRM 2015 and they are all on separate servers working with 1 instance of Connector.

What are my options here and is it possible to configure this setup on a standard Dyn AX Connector?

Hello guys,

I was wondering if is possible to show more records in a report created using the Wizard? I did not saw the option, and for reports that have +100 records is uncomfortable to only see a limited number.

Thanks,

Hello guys,

I have a tough question here.

When an Opportunity is marked as Won, it is possible to show a file or a pop-up window to be filled by the user and then send it via e-mail?

Seeking experiences from CRM portals

Hey everyone!

We are currently evaluating four different systems to integrate with our CRM to make a customer portal. I would really like to get some feedback from people that have experience with one or more of these. An open discussion would be really nice. Im also wondering if we have missed out on a system, if so, please tell!

Here is the four:

  1. ADX studio
  2. CRM portal connector
  3. Sitecore
  4. CRMup

I also write down some open questions, but answer in whatever way you want!

Was it easy to install?
Does it integrate with other systems?
How was/is the support?
Easy to customize?
Great functionality?
